Good Samaritan Pet Doctor is looking for a surgery and dentistry only veterinarian to join our team!

Essential Responsibilities & Functions

Confidence and skills necessary to tackle a variety of soft tissue surgeries including a strong working knowledge of HVHQ spay and neuter techniques.

Knowledge of interpreting dental radiographs and expertise in extracting multi-rooted teeth.

Commitment to providing patients with a high level of veterinary care.

Enthusiasm about building relationships with referring veterinarians within the Greater Omaha community.

Desire and talent to champion the practice’s mission, values, goals as well as inspire others.

Follow the established policies and procedures of Good Sam’s Surgical Program based on published guidelines of AAHA, AAFP, RAVS, and VASG.

Efficiently handle high caseloads while maintaining accurate recordkeeping.

Promote a collaborative working environment. Encourage and participate in healthy team dynamics of conflict resolution and the ability to give and receive feedback.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

Nebraska State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
